Sunday from Firewire Surfboards is a popular model designed together with legendary Rob Machado, a versatile board that can be surfed in both short and longer lengths and with a lot of performance - the board is as Rob says: Sunday is always fun.

- Volcanic lamination - Forged in fire, this Basalt lamination technology is our sustainable alternative to carbon, and is our most durable with elevated response
- A stringerless EPS core with flex controlled at the rails made from Paulownia and Balsa wood - this construction is light and lively underfoot, and excellent at generating speed in everyday waves.
- Rob's own words: My favorite thing about the Sunday is how it occupies both sides of the spectrum. I ride both the 5'6 and the 7'0. That covers a lot of territory. In the afternoon I'll ride my bicycle down to Cardiff reef and maybe paddle out the 7-foot Sunday for a cruise. Then before sunset I'll ride the 5'6 at Seaside if its good.

It works well in just about any conditions - size up for weaker conditions, and ride your typical size when the waves get good. Depending on what size you ride, it can be put in quality surf. Recommended in 1-4' surf, skewing towards poor to average conditions

I wonder about the size and color?
Size can of course vary from brand to brand, as can color reproduction in images.
