That surfing is a male dominated sport is nothing new. For ages female surfers have had to assert themselves in a line-up where they often exist as a minority. Within the surf industry it looks the same, boards and wetsuits have been optimized for the male surfer and the female surfers’ different needs have been overlooked. Salt Gypsy wasn’t taking it and established themselves on the market as a pioneer for the female surfers. They supported the women of the ocean and the female surf community, wanting each woman out there to feel confident ant that they too belonged in the line-up.
We want to see more women on the waves, that is as obvious as the sun in the sky. At 6/5/4 you’ll find surfboards signed Salt Gypsy suitable for everybody, both male and female, because if there is something that should be available to everyone it is the ocean and its waves.
